Brooklyn Boy by Donald Margulies
A reading directed by: Avi Soroka
24/6: A Jewish Theater Company is excited to return to the Sixth Street Community Synagogue with the premiere installment of its play reading series. We launch this new initiative with a reading of Brooklyn Boy by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies, directed by 24/6's co-Artistic Director and native Brooklynite, Avi Soroka.
Brooklyn Boy is a witty and insightful look at what happens to a writer, Eric Weiss, when his novel hits the bestseller list. His fame finally gives him a chance to leave Brooklyn but his experiences in the world teach him that maybe home is where he belongs.
